Ding-Yang Hsu, Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial Design at Ming Chi University of Technology, represented Taiwan at the 2025 Poland INTARG International Invention and Innovation Exhibition and won a Gold Medal as well as the Thailand Special Award for his innovative project, the IoT Breathing Training Device, making a remarkable debut on the global invention stage. During the exhibition, numerous international visitors expressed strong interest in the invention, actively seeking to understand its applications and potential collaborations, demonstrating its high potential in the international market.



Professor Hsu revealed that the invention focuses on integrating respiratory rehabilitation with smart healthcare, designing a remotely operable breathing training device to assist users in conducting rehabilitation training at home. The system can adjust airway resistance based on individual needs and provides real-time tracking and feedback to enhance the user experience and training effectiveness. Furthermore, the device integrates cloud data management, enabling healthcare providers to simultaneously monitor the training progress of multiple patients, effectively improving the efficiency of medical resource allocation.
