The Department has often put forth various design themes through cooperative education programs with pertinent private and government organizations, and has regularly exhibited its design achievements. In addition, students in this Department have frequently participated in various design contests outside the school and have had outstanding performances.

The two-year and four-year institute of technology has implemented the designer internship system. Prior to graduation, students should have undergone factory practice for one year in total at various business enterprises or design companies to obtain actual design experience.
